Here are the pictures of the finished projects! The first is of that ugly yellow-green-brown table that is now a lovely shade of grey. It's the perfect size to fit in between our ginormous overstuffed yard sale furniture. The lamp is also a redo--it was beige with some 70s gold accents. Not cute. I painted it and added a nice drum shade, and VOILA! Gorgeous.
Below is the cabinet-cum-nightstand, with its new coats of paint. Love it! It's the perfect size for my huge CD player alarm clock (which stays until I get an iPod alarm clock), Pottery Barn outlet lamp (love it!), and of course my 8 billion candles that I cannot live without. Plus my tissues since I'm constantly sick and a huge sand dollar that Nick gave me.
The best part is that I also use it as a linen closet!!! Now we actually have room in our bathroom closet for our towels. YESSSS!! Please notice the lovely cream shade (called Innocence--best name ever) on the interior of the nightstand/linen closet. The knobs are also pretty sweet--they were 99 cents at Home Depot and they have this great texture on them. Fab.
I took a picture of the interior of the top drawer just for fun. Plus to show off all the storage! Yes, I do keep needlework in my bedside table. I'm like a grandma. It's fine.
I hope you enjoyed my furniture UPGRADES!!
